Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In San Jose, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Jose is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The food was some of the best Iβve had in my life! Go! Got the Hang Lay Curry. The spices were perfectly married and flavor was on point! The only thing I wish I had was a bigger belly to eat it all. π₯°

The food overall was great & the service was excellent. There is a bathroom to wash hands or use. They sadly donβt take reservations & you never know how long the wait will be. The Pineapple Fried rice was hot and savory, with the extra sweet pineapple. The rice was really flavorful & far from dry, adding a protein complimented the flavor. (9/10) Pork Lard was decent, the pork & onion were a bit dry itself. The flavor really enhances when you stuff the pork, onion, lettuce, & rice together. (6.5/10) For dessert, I recommend the Fried Banana with Ice cream. The sweet vanilla ice cream is covered in chocolate & syrup, with hot gooey fried bananas on the side. (8/10)

Ate here for a Sunday night dinner and the food was great! The menu was very intriguing, as the restaurant offers Thai street food that I havenβt seen at other Thai restaurants in the area. We tried the Crispy Pork Belly, which was a standout dish. It came with three sauces and sticky rice, all of which were really good. They have outdoor seating but we sat inside and it was cozy. Service was fast. Iβll be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Came here for lunch because we wanted to try out this restaurantβs around the South Bay Area. This place had some pretty nice looking dishes and decent atmosphere. The space is a little small so seating could be a little tight. The team was very welcoming and paid attention to us even though we sat outside. (Full list of what we ordered at the bottom of review) Prior to coming here we knew this place was on the more expensive side to other thai restaurants, but on the flip side, the portions of each dish were very large! The pad thai was enough to share between 2 people and the papaya salad was a little bit on the spicier side which I personally enjoyed. I like to judge a place based on two things, Pad thai and Papaya salad. The flavors of the food were alright. It didnβt wow me but it was not bad. The crispy pork belly was very dry and hard to bite thru at times. Overall, I would not be rushing to come back but would definitely come back to give it another shot if friends/family want to try it and I would like to try the Kor Moo Yang (grilled pork neck). You can find their updated menu with prices at their website. Hereβs what we ordered: Crispy Pork Belly - Pan-grilled pork

I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and cozy. Mam, our server was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious β you can really tell they use fresh, quality ingredients. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor. I especially loved Larb, kor mu yang, papaya salad and tom yum soup. I highly recommend this place if youβre looking for great food, a comfortable vibe, and top-notch service. I canβt wait to come back!
